Farmington Plane Crash Death of Pilots William O’Leary and Mark Morrow – Obituary
55-year-old Pilots William O’Leary of Bristol, Conn. and 57-year-old pilot Mark Morrow of Danbury, Conn. have died in a fatal Farmington, Connecticut plane crash that occurred on Thursday, September 2, 2021. It happened shortly after the plane took off and crashed into a building belonging to Trumpf, a machine manufacturing company.
The crash also claimed the lives of a married couple of Boston doctors identified as Courtney Haviland, 33, and William Shrauner, 31.
According to information provided by the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane, a Cessna Citation 560X, just took off from Robertson Airport in Plainville, Conn., on its way to Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo, N.C.
The place is said to have suffered a mechanical failure during its take-off sequence and shortly crashed into a building. Two people in the building were left with minor injuries.
