Kelly’s Trailer Park Shooting Death of Tammy Ingram – Obituary

57-year-old Tammy Ingram has died in a fatal Barbour County, Alabama shooting that occurred at Kelly’s Trailer Park on Thursday, September 2, 2021. It happened at about 1:30 p.m. in Lot 4 where police arrived to find Ingram with multiple bullet wounds.

Police interviewed a witness who helped them identify the suspect as 48-year-old Anthony Lee Tyler. The witness told police that Ingram was seated in a chair, sunbathing. Tyler approached her and the two engaged in an argument.

The witness said they then heard gunshots and saw Ingram running from Tyler who was pointing and firing a gun at her.

Ingram fell to the ground with Tyler standing over her. She was waving her hands over her face as Tyler fired several rounds at her.

Tyler then calmly left the victim and stood in front of his trailer, with his eyes on Ingram who was lying unresponsive on the ground. He then left the scene in a vehicle and was only apprehended using the description that the witness gave to the police.

The suspect was captured at Hwy. 431 and Hwy. 30 and was airlifted to the hospital for a possible drug overdose. He was listed as being in critical condition.
