Donnetta Dyson, Keenan Braxton, and Johnny Joyner – Obituary

3 people, 31-year-old Donnetta Dyson, 24-year-old Keenan Braxton, and 37-year-old Johnny Joyner, all of Washington, D.C., have died in a fatal D.C. shooting that occurred on Saturday, September 4, 2021. Officers arrived at the scene at about 7:30 p.m. to find 6 people suffering bullet wounds.

According to official reports, suspects in a dark-colored Honda Accord, seen in surveillance footage, fired at a group of people that were hanging out in the 600 block of Longfellow Street.

Six people in total were found with bullet wounds. All were taken to hospital where 3 were pronounced dead. The condition of surviving 3 has not yet been made available. However, their wounds were described as non-life-threatening.

Police say this was not a random shooting but have yet to establish a motive behind the shooting.
