Racing Car Crash Death of Marina Emms and Devlyn Voss – Obituary

19-year-old Marina Emms and 19-year-old Devlyn Voss have died in a fatal Eden Prairie racing car crash that occurred on Sunday, September 5, 2021. It happened in the 5300 block of Baker Road, killing Voss on the scene while Marina died at the hospital.

According to official reports, police received complaints from the public about cars racing in the area of Flying Cloud Drive and Crosstown Circle. When they arrived at the location, all vehicles fled except one. Police initiated pursuit but lost the suspect’s vehicle.

Moments later, they located the crash in the 5300 block of Baker Road. Voss, the driver, was found dead at the scene. Marina was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead later.

Voss’ family issued the following statement following the crash:

“At this time we just want to show our appreciation of all of the love and support of Devlyn and Marina and our families. This is a tragic situation that resulted in the death of two young beautiful souls. That is what we are focusing on. Our hearts go out to Marina and her family and we all are just taking our time to grieve and process the difficult emotions.”
