 Philadelphia shooting death of Bahsil Garrison – Obituary

A 16-year-old boy, Bahsil Garrison, has died in a fatal Philadelphia shooting that occurred on Monday, November 8, 2021. It happened at about 3:40 p.m. in West Philadelphia, around Belmont and Westminster avenues.

According to official reports, officers were conduction an investigation at the scene of a car crash when they heard multiple gunshots fired.

They located the scene in the 900 block of Belmont Avenue where they found Bahsil Garrison suffering severe bullet wounds. They rendered life-saving measured and took the boy to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. However, he was pronounced dead just moments later.

Also injured in the same shooting incident was a 17-year-old boy who sustained a bullet wound to the arm. He has since been hsoptialized.

The shooting remains under investigation and so far, no one has been arrested.
