25-year-old Edilberto Miguel Palaez Moctezuma dies in fatal Norristown Thanksgiving shooting

25-year-old Edilberto Miguel Palaez Moctezuma has died in a fatal Norristown Thanksgiving shooting that occurred as Edilberto was eating a thanksgiving dinner with his family. 19-year-old Kevon Clarke has been arrested in connection with the shooting.

According to official reports, the bullet flew in through the window and struck Edilberto in the torso.

Kevon and his girlfriend were asked to leave a thanksgiving party. The girlfriend’s cousin later called Kevon to ask about alcohol that had been discovered missing. The cousin, a female, then arranged to meet Kevon at his home for her to collect the alcohol.

However, Kevon came out with a gun and opened fire at the female multiple times as she fled from the scene. It was at this point that one of the bullets strayed, went through the window, and struck Edilberto in the torso.

He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Kevon has since been arrested and charged with murder among other felinies.
