Athens death of Diane Crane Defoor – Obituary
58-year-old Diane Crane Defoor has died in a fatal Athens shooting that occurred on Maiden Court on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Diana Lynne Rogers, 39, of Mount Airy, Maryland, has been charged with murder in the case.
Officers arrived at the scene of the shooting to find Diane Crane Defoor with bullet wounds to which she succumbed.
Also at the scene, police found Diana Lynne Rogers who they say was acting suspicious, and attempted to lead them away from the crime scene. Lynne Rogers was arrested charged with the murder of Diane.
The murder is under investigation and more details will be made available.
