Wailuku pedestrian-car crash death of Christopher Macleod of Wailuku – Obituary
46-year-old Christopher Macleod of Wailuku has died in a fatal Wailuku pedestrian-cr crash that occurred on the Honoapi ilani Highway on Thursday at about 8:33 p.m.
The accident happened 0.3 miles south of Kuikahi Drive. Christopher Macleod was left with severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred as Christopher was either walking or running on the highway shoulder when he was hit by the vehicle that had crossed the white fo line.
The accident is under investigation and so far, police have arrested the driver of the vehicle for DUI.
