Interstate 59 West Blocton pedestrian-car crash death of Lannie D. Hyde – Obituary
Lannie D. Hyde, 59, has died in a fatal Interstate 59 pedestrian-car crash that occurred at about 11:30 a.m. The pedestrian fatality occurred as Lannie was walking along the shoulder of the interstate,
According to official reports, Lannie was walking on the shoulder, heading south on I-59. At some point, he was hit by the driver of a Ford Focus that was traveling on the roadway.
Lannie was left with severe injuries to which he succumbed at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Ford Focus that hit Lannie D. Hyde has been identified as 28-year-old Micah Anderson of Hueytown.
The accident is under investigation and more detail will be made available.
