Valley shooting death of Jarez Cytril Ricks – Obituary
Jarez Cytril Ricks, 31, has died in a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, April 15, 2022, in the 200 block of Martin Luther King Drive.
Officers arrived at the scene of the shooting to find Jarez with severe bullet wounds to the torso. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to official reports, Christopher Avantae Summers, 32, of Valley, was arrested and confessed to the shooting.
The shooting is under investigation as Summers awaits his court hearings.
