Hoang Tran has died in a fatal Houston street takeover car crash that occurred on Friday, April 15, 2022. The traffic fatality happened when 21-year-old Damian West ran a red light during a police chase.
According to official reports, Damian West and others had executed a street takeover where they occupy part of a street to perform car stunts illegally.
Hoang was in a vehicle that Damian struck while fleeing from the police. The accident left him with severe injuries to which Hoang succumbed.
A passenger in Hoang’s car sustained severe injuries and is in critical condition at the hospital.
The accident is under investigation and Damian is set to appear in court soon.
