Friday-April 15-2022 King Street shooting death of Khaalil Petty of Mansfield – Obituary
15-year-old Khaalil Petty of Mansfield has been identified as the victim of a fatal King Street shooting that occurred on Friday-April 15-2022.
Petty was shot many times in the upper body and died as a result of his injuries Friday afternoon at a nearby hospital, according to Mansfield police.
The gunshot on the 700 block of King Street was the city’s third in less than 24 hours.
Late Friday, Mansfield Assistant Police Chief Jason Bammann reported that a kid was shot on King Street and was brought to a nearby hospital, where he eventually died.
