Victor Mendoza, 28, of Las Cruces, and Angel C. Acosta, 27, of Las Cruces have died in a fatal Las Cruces car crash that occurred on Interstate 10 on Friday-April 15-2022.

The two men killed in a head-on collision on Interstate 10 last week have been identified by police.
Victor Mendoza, 28, of Las Cruces, and Angel C. Acosta, 27, of Las Cruces, were the two victims, according to New Mexico State Police.
Mendoza was driving an eastbound 2010 Honda SUV in the westbound lanes of I-10 when he crashed head-on with Acosta, who was driving a 2021 Chevy Pickup, at 4:20 a.m. Friday, April 15 near milepost 122.
Mendoza was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident, according to Wilson.
Wilson stated that both guys were declared deceased at the site.
The crash is still being investigated.
