Monday, April 18, 2022 Tuxedo car crash death of Ahkem Chu III of Chester – Obituary
Ahkem Chu III, 23, of Chester, was killed in a head-on collision on the boundary of Rockland and Orange counties in Tuxedo, New York.
It happened approximately 7:30 a.m. Monday on Tuxedo’s Route 17, often known as the Orange Turnpike.
According to CBS2’s Tony Aiello, this segment is a two-lane road, as opposed to the split roadway through Paramus or Monticello.
According to state police, a southbound 2007 car jumped into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a vehicle from a local tree service firm before bursting into flames.
The driver was brought to the hospital by first responders, but they were declared dead. Ahkem Chu III, 23, of Chester, was identified as the driver by police. Friends of Chu, on the other hand, informed CBS2’s Tony Aiello that his name was Ahken Chu.
