Sunday April 17 2022 Rockingham County car crash death of McGaheysville man Benjamin D. Hill – Obituary
On Sunday, April 17, 2022 45-year-old McGaheysville resident Benjamin D. Hill, was killed in a car accident in Rockingham County.
According to Virginia State Police, the accident happened at 8 p.m. Sunday in the 9100 block of South Eastside Highway.
According to police, a 2004 Ford F-150 was driving north on South Eastside Highway when it failed to negotiate a bend and went off the right side of the road.
The vehicle overcorrected, raced off the right side of the road again, and eventually flipped.
The driver, identified as 45-year-old McGaheysville resident Benjamin D. Hill, died at the site.
According to police, he was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the pickup.
The crash is still being investigated.
