San Jose pedestrian-car crash death of Rogelio Lara of San Jose – obituary
A man who was expected to live after being hit by a car while crossing an East San Jose roadway earlier this month has died as a result of his injuries.
According to San Jose police, the incident occurred at 2:54 p.m. on April 7 on Quimby Road at Burdick Way when the driver of a 2014 Hyundai sedan driving east on Quimby struck a man stepping across to the north side of the roadway.
According to police, the injured guy was transferred to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but he died on April 17 as a result of those injuries.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Office Coroner’s has identified him as 74-year-old Rogelio Lara of San Jose.
