Woodbridge VA car crash death of Mohammed Khalil Abdallah – obituary

On Wednesday, April 13, authorities charged a Woodbridge man in connection with a deadly automobile collision near the intersection of Smoketown Road and Minnieville Road. Andrew Irwin has been charged with one count of careless driving.

According to police, Mohammed Khalil Abdallah, 77, was murdered after a Mercedes driver crossed a red light at the intersection of Minnieville Road and Smoketown Road in Woodbridge and collided with Abdallah’s Toyota Highlander. Irwin was recognized as the driver of the Mercedes by authorities.

Irwin, as well as a passenger in Abadallah’s SUV and the driver of a Honda Accord, were injured in the incident last Wednesday about 1:20 p.m. According to the police department, Irwin was still in the hospital on Tuesday.
