San Antonio car crash death of Angel Ray Reyes – Obituary
The driver who was killed after his car hydroplaned and slammed into a pole on the Northwest Side on Wednesday morning has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Angel Ray Reyes, 27, was killed soon before 1:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of Callaghan Road, south of Ingram Road.
Reyes was driving his truck northbound on Callaghan when he lost control and hydroplaned, according to the SAPD investigation. The vehicle entered the northbound lanes and struck a pole.
He suffered head injuries, according to authorities.
In a stable condition, a male truck passenger was transported to University Hospital.
There were no other vehicles involved in the crash. The collision is under investigation.
