Wichita Arkansas River car crash death of Christopher Cotter – Obituary
According to Wichita police, a 58-year-old motorist died after suffering a medical emergency that forced his vehicle into the Arkansas River.
The collision occurred at 9:25 a.m. Thursday between Pawnee and McLean. When rescue crews arrived, they discovered the driver, Christopher Cotter inside the vehicle and took him to a hospital in Wichita, where he was declared dead.
Officer Chad Ditch says Cotter was traveling east on Pawnee in a silver Lexus ES250 when he experienced a medical episode and crashed into the river.
