Dalhart car crash death of Devon Riddell – Obituary
Devon Riddell, 25, was killed in an automobile accident in Dalhart on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at about 4:45 a.m.
According to a news release, a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 was traveling southwest on US 54 at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, about 3.5 miles southwest of Dalhart. At the same moment, a 2018 General Motors Box Van was traveling northeast on US 54.
According to the announcement, the Dodge Ram crossed the centerline of the road into oncoming traffic. The driver of the box van attempted to avoid the other car by moving towards the right shoulder, but officials stated the vehicle was unable to prevent the collision.
