Cape Cod Mass. car crash death of Laura Walsh of Hyannis – obituary
Laura Walsh, 34, of Hyannis, was the lone casualty in a single-vehicle collision near Centerville on Saturday.
According to the Cape Cod Times, police arrived at the scene of an accident at 695 South Main St. at 1:41 a.m. to discover Walsh stuck in the vehicle.
The Toyota 4Runner 2011 was on its side. The automobile collided with many utility poles but was the only vehicle engaged in the accident. Walsh was extracted from the automobile using hydraulic equipment by emergency services. She was pronounced dead at the scene later.
According to Lt. Mark Mellyn of the Barnstable Police Department, the reason of the accident is unknown, but the event is being investigated by the Traffic Unit.
