Wilmington CA car crash death of Olivia Espinoza – Obituary
Olivia Espinoza was pronounced dead after a hit-and-run accident on E Street early Monday, April 18, 2022 morning.
Around 1:45 a.m., the incident occurred near the junction of E Street and Figueroa Place.
According to reports, a white four-door GMC SUV approached E Street and struck a lady sleeping on the sidewalk. Following the collision, the SUV driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot, finally getting into another Nissan Altima traveling east on E Street.
Because of the severity of his injuries, doctors pronounced the seriously injured pedestrian dead at the site. Olivia Espinoza was later recognized by authorities.
Meanwhile, detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the eluded driver. The tragic attack is still being investigated at this time.
