Floyd County car crash death of Taylor Leigh Bedsaul of Floyd – Obituary
On Tuesday, April 19, 2022, 25-year-old Taylor Leigh Bedsaul of Floyd died in a fatal Floyd County single-vehicle crash that occurred on Route 8.
A 2001 GMC Sonoma moving south on Route 8 lost control, crossed the centerline, and collided with a northbound 2019 Honda CRV.
Taylor Leigh Bedsaul, 25, of Floyd, was not wearing her seatbelt while driving the GMC, according to authorities. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda, 69-year-old Thomas M. Jasikoff of Fort Myers, Florida, was wearing his seatbelt and was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the incident, according to investigators.
According to WFXR News, speed was a role in Tuesday’s incident.
According to Virginia State Police, both of these collisions are still under investigation as of Thursday, April 21.
