Wellford HWY 29 car crash death of Jackolane Mattison of Lyman – Obituary
Jackolane Mattison, 43, of Lyman, was one of three individuals who died in a deadly Wellford vehicle accident on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Megan Jackson Barnett, 30, of Wellford, and her 6-year-old daughter Briley Diann Barnett were also killed in the collision.
According to Wellford Police Chief David Green, the three victims were all killed at the scene.
Megan Jackson Barnett, 30, of Wellford, and her 6-year-old daughter Briley Diann Barnett died in one of the accidents. The other car was driven by Jackolane Mattison, 43, of Lyman.
According to Chief Green, they believe that speed had a role in the tragedy.
