Long Beach East Ocean Boulevard shooting death of Justin Morris – Obituary

On Thursday, Justin Morris, a man who was shot to death during an altercation in a Long Beach beach parking lot was identified.

According to Lt. Paul Gallo of the Long Beach Police Department, the incident occurred at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 4300 block of East Ocean Boulevard.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, Justin Morris, 27, was the victim of the shooting.

According to police, “the victim was in the parking lot performing a dance routine when he became embroiled in a verbal disagreement with a group of unknown male suspects.”

“The argument developed into a physical confrontation, and then the gunshot, which ended in the victim’s death.” All suspects fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.”
