Lindenwold NJ shooting death of Alvin Redd – Obituary

Detectives are looking into a fatal Lindenwold shooting that caused the death of one man, Alvin Redd, and injured another, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Lindenwold Police Chief Michael P. McCarthy, Jr.

Officers from the Lindenwold Police Department responded to the 400 block of West Park Avenue in Lindenwold for several 911 calls reporting gunshots on Friday, April 22, 2022, at about 8:09 p.m. Officers arrived to find the victim, Alvin Redd, 25, of Lindenwold, lying in the street with an apparent gunshot wound. The man was taken to Jefferson Hospital-Stratford, where he was declared dead at about 8:47 p.m.

A second victim, a 29-year-old Camden male, was also shot and was taken to Jefferson Hospital-Stratford for treatment.
