Ascension Parish car crash death of Jon Davies – Obituary
Jon Davies, 35, was killed in a fatal Ascension Parish car crash after his truck collided with a power pole on a Louisiana roadway on Friday, April 22, 2022.
According to Louisiana State Police, a single-vehicle accident on State Highway 73 in Ascension Parish on Friday night knocked off electricity to almost 2,000 homes and businesses.
According to WBRZ-TV, authorities identified Jon Davies, 35, as the individual who died after his pickup truck drove off the road and collided with a power pole. According to state police, he was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
To ascertain if the motorist was impaired by drink or drugs, police are performing toxicological testing.
