Bronx robbery shooting death of Jonathan Maldonado – Obituary
In The Bronx early Friday, April 22, 2022, a prospective robbery victim fatally shot the man reportedly attempting to steal from him, in a stunning confrontation recorded on video acquired by The Post.
According to police, Jonathan Maldonado, 34, was shot in the torso at the intersection of East Gun Hill Road and Webster Avenue in Norwood about 1:30 a.m.
Surveillance video shows Maldonado first clutching what seems to be a knife and circling in the center of the junction, attempting to flee the suspected gunman, Supreme Williams, 36.
According to the security footage and the NYPD, Williams then draws a revolver and pursues the 34-year-old, shooting him in the back as he attempts to run from him.
