Worthington Street shooting death of Karmari Alexander of Springfield dies in fatal – Obituary
The man killed in last Friday’s fatal Springfield shooting on Worthington Street has been named as Karmari Alexander of Springfield.
Karmari Alexander, 21, of Springfield, is the victim, according to Hampden District Attorney’s Spokesperson Jim Leydon. On April 15th, at about 10:05 p.m., Springfield police were summoned to a complaint of shots fired. The victim was discovered with a gunshot wound and was transported to Baystate Medical Center, where he died.
The incident is still being investigated by the Springfield Police Department’s Homicide Unit and the Hampden District Attorney’s Office’s Murder Unit.
