Leeds farming equipment accident death of Marcus Claessen – Obituary
The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the death of a 66-year-old man in an incident involving agricultural equipment.
Officers were called to a property in Leeds and Thousand Islands Township, Ont., on Friday afternoon, according to police.
According to police, a single individual was discovered stuck beneath an agricultural sprayer linked to a farm tractor.
Marcus Claessen, 66, of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township, was declared dead at the scene, according to police.
The OPP is working with Forensic Identification Services and the Office of the Chief Coroner of Ontario to conduct an investigation.
A post-mortem examination is being carried out.
