Chisholm police shooting death of Michael David Johnson of Chisholm – Obituary
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office identified the individual who was shot and killed by law enforcement as Michael David Johnson, a 38-year-old male from Chisholm, according to a BCA press release. He perished as a result of several gunshot wounds.
According to a BCA press release, Johnson’s automobile was discovered outside his Chisholm house on 2nd Street Southwest and Central Avenue Southwest around 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday. About a half-hour later, law officers attempted to arrest Johnson.
Johnson then emerged from the residence armed with knives, prompting cops to open fire. According to the study, cops used less-lethal ammunition before using deadly shots. Johnson was declared dead at the scene, and there were no cops harmed.
