Anahola car crash death of Roxanne Fasanella – Obituary
Authorities have identified a lady who died in a vehicle accident on the Ki Highway on Good Friday. y.
Roxanne Fasanella, 59, was a passenger in one of four automobiles involved in the April 15 crash in Anahola.
According to Kauai police, the collision occurred at around 12:39 p.m. when the driver of a white Chevrolet pickup truck, subsequently identified as Thomas Castro, was going south and collided with a blue Chevrolet pickup truck that was in the process of turning left at mile marker 15.
According to KPD, the blue truck collided with a northbound Ford MPVH as a result of that incident. Fasanella was in the Ford MPVH as a passenger.
Following the original incident, the blue truck drove into the shoulder and collided with a parked car, a Chevrolet convertible. According to investigators, Castro fled the site after the second accident.
Fasanella was taken to Wilcox Hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries sustained in the collision. This was the fourth road fatality on Kauai in 2022.
