According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 69-year-old motorcyclist died Friday morning after colliding with a Jeep in Hernando County.
According to the crash report, the rider, who was only identified as an individual from Spring Hill, was riding south on Anderson Snow Road shortly after 9:30 a.m. At the same moment, a 26-year-old Brooksville lady was driving north.
When the two collided at the intersection of Corporate Boulevard, the biker turned into the path of the Jeep and was hit, according to authorities. According to the story, the woman crashed into a tree but was unharmed.
The man was transferred to the hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
