Shooting death of Alfred York – Obituary
A woman is saddened after her son, Alfred York, was pronounced dead following a fatal shooting. Theresa Irvine claimed she and Alfred York, 17, shared an unbreakable friendship.
“I loved him as if he were my own kid,” Irvine explained. According to court filings, York and 15-year-old suspect, Bryan Toledo were both armed when he was shot Monday evening.
Irvine stated that she could never see York possessing a gun because he has always stated his opposition to gun violence.
“I wouldn’t have let that happen,” she claimed.
Through her anguish, Irvine advises parents to pay more attention to their children and spend more time with them.
