Colombia Apple Orchard Lane dog attack death of Erin Beach of Newberry – Obituary
According to Newberry County authorities, a lady died when her dog attacked her on Apple Orchard Lane. Erin Beach, 45, of Newberry, according to Newberry County Coroner Laura Kneece, was the victim.
Investigators aren’t clear what sparked Thursday’s attack. According to EMS and deputies who arrived on the scene, the dog displayed unusually violent behavior toward them, resulting in the dog’s death. According to officials, the dog will be transferred to DHEC for necropsy.
The Newberry County Coroner’s Office and the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office are still looking into the event.
