Minnesota house fire death of Jason Brose of Akeley – Obituary
(FOX 9) – The U.S. Following a house fire on Wednesday, the burnt remains of a 45-year-old man were discovered in a northern Minnesota residence.
The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 7:51 p.m. on April 20, fire crews from Akeley and Nevis responded to the incident, which found the residence at 50 Pleasant Ave. in Akeley totally engulfed in flames.
At 9:18 p.m., firefighters discovered the remains of Jason Brose, 45, of Akeley, who died from smoke inhalation.
According to the sheriff’s office, neighbors reported hearing an explosion from inside the residence moments before the fire started.
Authorities have not stated how the fire originated, and it is still being investigated.
