Columbus shooting death of Harvey Montreal Johnson – Obituary
Harvey Montreal Johnson has been identified as the person pronounced dead following a fatal Columbus shooting that occurred on Sunday, April 24, 2022.
According to official reports, the 16-year-old was shot and killed at about 2 a.m. in Lowndes County.
Johnson was driving a bullet-riddled automobile when it fell into a ditch on Highway 182 near Poplar Street just before 2 a.m. He sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead
According to police, the incident occurred just minutes before 2 a.m. in the 100 block of Poplar Street.
There hasn’t been any indication of an arrest or of police locating a person of interest in the case.
