Long Beach shooting death of Jimmy Ray Hawkins Jr. – Obituary
According to authorities, a Bellflower man, identified as Jimmy Ray Hawkins Jr., was killed and a woman was critically injured in a fatal Long Beach shooting. The shooting occurred on Friday, April 22, 2022.
Friends and family say Jimmy was a father of 3 girls.
There have been no arrests since the culprits left the area before police arrived. Although the reason behind the shooting may be gang-related, Jimmy Ray Hawkins was not a member of any gang, according to his sister.
