Leroy TWP car crash death of Maureen Griswol – Obituary
Michigan State Police are investigating a two-vehicle incident south of Battle Creek on Saturday evening, April 23, 2022. The wreck caused the death of Maureen Griswolin and also left two people wounded.
It happened at 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of M-66 and D Drive South in Calhoun County, according to authorities.
According to MSP troopers, a southbound Ford Fusion caught fire after colliding with a Chevrolet Trailblazer that had just turned northbound onto M-66.
Maureen Griswol, 75, was the Trailblazer’s passenger, and she was pronounced deceased at the scene of the wreck.
The driver of the Fusion was evacuated to a hospital in Kalamazoo, as did the driver of the Trailblazer.
