Louisville shooting death of Zachary Bentley – Obituary
Zachary Bentley has been identified as the person pronounced dead following a fatal pedestrian-car crash that occurred on Thursday, April 21, 2022. According to official reports, the suspect in the hit and run accident has been named as Kobe Stanton, 22, of Louisville, who has been arrested.
The accident happened on Bardstown and Zachary Bentley was left with severe injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
According to court filings, just before 3:30 p.m., police were summoned to the 6900 block of Bardstown Road, near the intersection with Interstate 265, on a complaint of a significant injury collision.
Kobe Stanton, 22, of Louisville, has been arrested in connection with the crash. According to police, Stanton swerved off the road, struck Bentley, and then drove away.
