Louisville Ky. pedestrian-car crash death of Zachary Bentley – Obituary

The pedestrian who was hit and killed on Bardstown Road on Thursday, April 21, 2022, has been named as a 29-year-old male, Zachary Bentley. Kobe Stanton has been arrested in connection with the accident.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Zachary Bentley, 29, died at the University of Louisville Hospital following the fatal collision.

According to court filings, just before 3:30 p.m., police were summoned to the 6900 block of Bardstown Road, near the intersection with Interstate 265, on a complaint of a significant injury collision.

Kobe Stanton, 22, of Louisville, has been arrested in connection with the crash. According to police, Stanton swerved off the road, struck Bentley, and then drove away.

An LMPD officer stopped Stanton’s car a short time later in the 5700 block of Bardstown Road, near the Fern Creek area.
