Dudley motorcycle-car crash death of James Joseph Thompson – Obituary
James Joseph Thompson, 60, was named as the victim of a deadly motorcycle-car crash in Dudley on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
Authorities said Thompson was driving a 2005 Harley-Davidson around 194 Southbridge Road around 3:25 p.m. on Saturday when he was hit by a White Mercedes-Benz SE entering a driveway.
Thompson, according to authorities, suffered life-threatening injuries. According to officials, the 17-year-old youngster driving the Mercedes-Benz sustained minor injuries.
Officers arrived at the scene and brought Thompson and the 17-year-old kid to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Thompson died as a result of his injuries, according to investigators.
The collision is still being investigated, and the name of the teen driver is being withheld by authorities.
