Taner was killed in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Portage Park on Chicago’s Northwest Side on Saturday night. After hitting Taner’s motorcycle, the vehicle fled the scene.
Taner Kapan, 25, was driving east on Irving Park Road at Lockwood Avenue at 8:30 p.m. when a 2003 BMW car struck him and sped away, according to Chicago police.
