Philadelphia Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar death of Eric Pope – Obituary
41-year-old Eric Pope, the man who was ejected from a Philadelphia club for being inebriated has died. Eric sustained head injuries following an incident with a bouncer at Tabu Lounge and Bar on April 16. On Saturday, April 23, 2022, he succumbed to his injuries.
Surveillance footage captures the seconds before a bouncer punches 41-year-old Eric Pope in the head at Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar.
According to sources close to the inquiry, Pope was removed out of the Philadelphia club at 1 a.m. on April 16 for being drunk.
Pope seems to approach the rear of a white SUV at one time. Following that, the bouncer approaches Pope and strikes him.
Pope collapses quickly after the strike, striking his head on the ground.
Pope was ultimately transferred to the hospital, but he died a week later.
