La Mirada car crash death of Michael Oliveri of Whittier and Karlie Daily of La Habr – Obituary
LA MIRADA, CALIFORNIA Authorities recognized the father and daughter killed in a fiery incident in La Mirada on Sunday.
Michael Oliveri, 46, of Whittier, and 21-year-old Karlie Daily of La Habra were confirmed by the coroner as the fatalities of the collision.
Saturday morning, just before 8 a.m., it happened near the junction of Rosecrans Avenue and Beach Boulevard.
The automobile was traveling at high speeds when it lost control, collided with a fire hydrant, and knocked down a power pole.
In La Mirada, a man and his daughter were murdered when their vehicle sheared a fire hydrant and smashed into a pole.
The vehicle then collided with a sign post at a retail mall.
Both victims were thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
