Providence car crash death of Violet Barracks RI – Obituary
WPRI (WPRI) – PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Violet Barracks has been identified as the lady who was injured and died in a hit-and-run in Providence.
Captain Thomas Verdi Domingo Grave Castro turned himself in three hours after the tragic hit-and-run, according to 12 News.
“She was adored by so many people, her grandchildren, her children, all of us, and we are simply crushed,” Lisa Ranglin said.
Lisa Ranglin says her beloved auntie was slain on Saturday evening right outside her house on Union Avenue near the Route 10 off-ramp.
Ranglin attributes her aunt’s decades of economic success to her own. She is the President and CEO of the Rhode Island Black Business Association.
