Maple Ridge shooting death of Arthur Aaron Joseph Comeau – Obituary
According to murder police, the man slain in a shooting in Maple Ridge on Thursday has been named as Arthur Aaron Joseph Comeau.
According to a press release from the Lower Mainland’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, the 41-year-old Maple Ridge homeowner was known to police.
However, it is too early to determine whether Comeau’s death was tied to the ongoing Lower Mainland gang fight, according to police.
Officers from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police were called to the 12300 block of Carlton Street in Maple Ridge around 2 p.m. Thursday after receiving several reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, they discovered one man victim with gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save his life, he died at the site.
