Etobicoke shooting death of Cavonte Dimsdale of Toronto – Obituary
The victim of a double shooting in north Etobicoke on Saturday afternoon has been identified as an 18-year-old guy.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at a housing development near Mount Olive Drive and Kipling Avenue, according to Toronto police.
Officers came to find a guy suffering from life-threatening injuries outside the property. He was brought to the hospital and declared dead.
Cavonte Dimsdale of Toronto was recognized by police on Sunday. He is the 23rd homicide victim in the city.
A second victim, an 18-year-old guy, was subsequently found in a local community center, according to authorities. He was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
The police have not given any information about the suspects.
