Janesville shooting death of Devon J. Hills – Obituary
The victim of last week’s workplace shooting in Janesville has been identified by the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Devon J. Hills, 30, of Janesville, was murdered in the shooting at Precision Drawn Metals on Tuesday afternoon, according to a press release.
According to the announcement, the autopsy revealed that Hill died as a consequence of homicidal firearm-related injuries.
Hills’ family stated in his obituary that he “went away following a senseless act of violence.”
Hills, who is survived by three children, was also described in the obituary as “calm and laid back.” He was a diligent worker, a mama’s child, and an ardent Philadelphia Eagles supporter.”
Police detained Kevin L. Todd immediately after the incident.
