Melrose LA shooting death of Dtravion Turner of Bowling Green – Obituary
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The name of a 22-year-old guy found shot dead inside his vehicle in the Melrose District was given by authorities on Sunday.
According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, the victim was identified as Dtravion Turner of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Officers responding to a radio call of a potential murder in the area of North Orange Grove and Melrose avenues at 6:20 a.m. Saturday discovered Turner down inside his car with a probable gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
He was declared dead at the site by arriving paramedics.
Residents in the vicinity reported hearing two gunshots at 10 p.m. Friday, but no one reported it to police.
